Delicious Pizza Sauce

Ingredients

6 tablespoons olive oil

1 onion, finely chopped

2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
a total of about 1 1/2 tablespoon dried Italian herbs (I mixed mostly basil, thyme, oregano)

200 g of tomato paste

200 g of crushed tomatoes

Preparation

Heat a pan, then cover the ground well with olive oil and onions fry golden brown over medium heat about 5-10 minutes. Reduce the heat and cook last 30 seconds of the garlic, then add the spices and fry also a few seconds.

Stir in tomato paste and tomato puree, heat to medium - turn low and simmer everything for about 10 minutes. Let cool slightly and spread sauce on the pizza base.
