Bruschetta With Tomatoes And Red Onions

Ingredients

1 baguette, sliced
8 medium tomatoes, diced
½ bunch fresh basil, chopped
½ red onion, finely chopped
freshly ground pepper
3 cloves garlic, halved

Preparation

Preheat oven to 200 ° C / Gas mark 6.

The tomatoes, basil and red onion in a small bowl, mix well and set aside.

Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for 5 minutes.

Remove the bread from the oven and let cool on a large serving platter 3-5 minutes. Rub the top of the baguette slices with garlic and demonstrate good generously with the prepared tomato mixture.
